The video for this class runs for 28 minutes but we recommend allocating 35-40 minutes to allow for repetitions of exercises when required.
Class 5 explores a more in-depth awareness of the students posture and Port de bras with the exercises “Posture Progression” and “Floating hands Level 2”. Turnout and alignment have been tailored into the exercise “Flog Legs” which emulates the muscles involved in basic allegro. The purity of alignment is enhanced during this class plan to involve the adage shape in “Attitude devant” where the foot alignment following the contour of the fusion ball encourages the foot not to develop a “sickle” line.
Class 5 also introduces the “Foot articulation extension” involving a stretch of the hamstrings as well as the articulation of the foot through the metatarsals. This is a lovely way to conclude this class.
