Cookies and Advertising Choices

Last updated: 22 October 2026

1. Cookies and similar technologies

Cookies, local storage, pixels and similar technologies can remember a session or choice, protect an account, deliver a requested service, measure use or support advertising. Some send information to another provider. Calling a technology first-party or calling an identifier hashed does not make its information anonymous.

This page supplements the general PBT Privacy Policy. Regional requirements and available choices can differ. Our China platform uses different technology partners; the Western measurement tools described below are not intended for that platform.

2. Purposes and providers

The technologies used on a particular page depend on the service, location and choices. The main groups are:

  • Essential service and security: account sessions, authentication, checkout, fraud prevention and remembering privacy choices. These support the service you request.
  • Cookiebot (Usercentrics): the cookie notice, consent choices and related consent/device records. Its details panel provides the cookie information available for the site, including names, providers and expiry.
  • Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager: usage events and tag delivery. Google Ads and conversion-linking tools support advertising measurement. Depending on configuration, Consent Mode can send limited signals without setting advertising or analytics storage cookies.
  • Microsoft Clarity: interaction and usage measurement, including clicks, scrolling and session-replay information. Microsoft may also process this information under its own privacy terms.
  • Pinterest, Meta and OpenAI advertising measurement: page or conversion events, browser/device identifiers and advertising attribution. Pinterest and other advertising providers may also use information for audiences or advertising under their own terms.

3. Your choices

Use the cookie settings button on this page to reopen available Cookiebot choices. You can change or withdraw a choice. Your browser can also restrict or clear stored information; doing so may sign you out or affect requested features. If settings are unavailable, contact customerservice@pbt.dance.

Where consent is required for a technology, it must be obtained before that use. Some strictly necessary uses are exempt. Some jurisdictions allow other narrow exceptions with conditions, including information and an easy objection. Advertising or a provider's additional uses do not automatically qualify as essential or purely statistical.

A browser setting or cookie choice affects browser technologies. It does not by itself stop an independent server-to-server disclosure. See the next section for conversion events and how to contact us about an objection.

4. Server-side advertising events

PBT uses Meta Conversions API for membership and workshop conversion measurement. Event data can include hashed email and name, country information, IP address and device/browser information, attribution identifiers and purchase or subscription event information. OpenAI server-side measurement can receive a subscription- or purchase-linked event identifier, event type, time and source page. These identifiers can remain linkable to a person.

To object to advertising-related sharing for your account or a guest purchase, contact customerservice@pbt.dance with enough information for us to identify the relevant account or transaction. Do not send card details. Browser cookie controls alone do not perform that server-side request.

5. Duration and further information

Some storage lasts for a browser session; persistent storage lasts until its stated expiry or earlier removal. Use Cookiebot's available details and your browser's stored-site information for the individual cookies and their current lifetimes. Provider settings and the technologies present can change. Consent records and server event records are separate from a cookie's lifetime and follow the purposes and retention criteria in our Privacy Policy.

The Privacy Policy explains personal information, recipients, overseas processing and privacy rights. If a technology or choice does not behave as described, please tell us so we can investigate.
