Fusion Ball

The students will be getting a full body workout during this exercise by targeting the core, glutes, hamstrings and working the co-ordination of the port de bra, all of which will help in pirouettes.

Starting Position: The student will begin by standing parallel with the fusion ball placed at the back of the knee and the knee in a retire position turned in.

Steps:

  1. The student will turn both legs out and bring the arms in to a first position.
  2. They will then take the leg in to an attitude front.
  3. The student will then open the leg out to the side, taking the arms to a second position.
  4. Have the student take the leg behind, taking the arms back in to a first position.
  5. The students will repeat this but will take the arms to a 5th position.
  6. They will then repeat the whole exercise from the start and then will repeat on the other leg.
