Before you start Class 7, make sure you or your students are confident in the exercises from Class 6.
Class 7 will continue to extend the students' development as well as their proprioception. The class commences with the exercise "Core with Port de Bras," which fully engages the young students' core and carefully checks their awareness of their pelvis alignment while encouraging the coordination of the harmonious movement of their head and arms.
Weight placement is another key factor of this class as they move into the exercise "Weight Placement Refinement." The centre of gravity for balance is such a valuable teaching tool. The extension exercises from Class 6 are retained in this class for further refinement, and included is the exercise "Derrière Extension." The class concludes as usual with a lovely series of warm-down and flexibility exercises.
