Mobility Class 6 – Senior Level, guided by Jenna Roberts, develops deep rotator and adductor activation, proprioception, and postural control through a carefully structured progression.
The class builds hip activation and proprioception early before moving into rotational strength and technical leg work. Balance with Alignment challenges the centre line of gravity and weight transfer in devant and derrière positions, while Upper Body Adage Combination integrates spinal rotation, side bend, and progressive leg work. The closing sequence works through the anterior chain, hamstrings, and adductors with breath and control.
Tips
In Passé with Bands, remind students to keep the hips stacked and movements controlled — the band increases the rotational demand, making precise hip alignment more challenging and more important.
In Balance with Alignment, remind students to keep the hips and pelvis facing forward throughout — any rotation or tilt will compromise the weight transfer and undermine the balance work.
Encourage students to approach the closing sequence with patience — the release work is most effective when it's not rushed.
