Welcome to Focus Warm-Up 6 – Coordination & Musicality, guided by Emily Seymour. This warm-up emphasizes alignment, balance, and controlled engagement, preparing students to move with precision. It targets core stabilization, leg and glute activation, and upper-body strength to support smooth, coordinated movement.

The session begins with Dynamic Bridge Activation, targeting the glutes, hamstrings, and core while developing pelvic stability and proprioceptive control. This is followed by Strong Shoulders, where students build upper-body strength and engage their core. Balance and coordination are further challenged through exercises such as Controlled Placement – Level 2, which highlights weight placement and overall body stability.

By the end of the session, students should feel stronger, more aligned, and ready to approach subsequent exercises with precision and control.

Tips for teachers:

• Cue students to maintain pelvic stability and core engagement throughout each exercise.

• Emphasize controlled movement rather than speed or exaggerated range.

• Watch foot placement on the fit ball to support balance and alignment.

• Encourage coordinated breathing to sustain flow and fluidity across sequences.
