Cristina Ayllón
I took my first ballet classes at the age of 4 at a school run by a former dancer from the Paris Opera, and continued my training at the Esther Esteve School in Andorra.
At age 15, I was selected to begin my professional training at the Besso Ballet Académie in Toulouse (France) and at the Víctor Ullate School in Madrid.
After completing my training, I danced for many years with various companies across Europe—including the Staatstheater Mainz, Ballet Madrid, and Ballet Carmen Roche—where I was able to develop as an artist by dancing lead roles such as Juliet in *Romeo and Juliet* and Odette in *Swan Lake*. I also had the opportunity to work directly with world-renowned choreographers.
Upon concluding my performing career, I reached a point where I felt it was important to pass on the knowledge I had acquired throughout my journey.
Thus was born the initiative to offer ballet classes in Spanish in Munich. By combining this with my other classes at the Munich International Ballet School—as well as guest teaching engagements at various ballet companies and schools—*Ballet Munich en Español* came to life.
Since August 2017, I have been a Certified PBT Teacher.
In September 2019, *Ballet Munich en Español* became part of *L’école de Danse Cristina Ayllón*.
As of January 2021, I have been collaborating with the Munich Ballet Centre in the role of Pedagogical Director.
In January 2022, I successfully completed the *VAE* (Validation of Prior Learning) in Classical Dance at the PESMD Bordeaux-Nouvelle Aquitaine, and the French Ministry of Culture awarded me the *Diplôme d’État de Professeur de Danse Classique* (State Diploma for Classical Dance Teachers).
