Courtney Wadman has been teaching dance full time at Nevada Union High School since 2010, and she is the recipient of the “Teacher Who Makes a Difference” Award. She graduated from Chapman University, where she received a BFA in Dance Performance as well as bachelor’s and master’s degrees in English/Creative Writing. She danced professionally as a guest artist for Jennifer Backhaus, Tiffany Billings, and Sean Greene. She has taught at private studios, public schools, and community colleges throughout California. She holds California teaching credentials in Physical Education/Dance, English, and CTE: Arts, Media & Entertainment. She is certified in Gateway Level 1 Pilates Mat and Progressing Ballet Technique: Level 1. As an educator, she wants to help her students reach their full potential and to develop a lifelong love for the beautiful art of dance.
