Welcome to Focus Warm-Up 6: Coordination & Musicality, guided by Jenna Roberts. This class develops coordination, musical responsiveness, and full-body organisation through a blend of lower-limb strength, core conditioning, and controlled transitions.

The warm-up begins by targeting the lower legs and core to support stamina and postural readiness. Students strengthen the ankle complex and deep abdominals while learning to maintain steady alignment as their base of support changes. This early work sets the foundation for integrating coordination with stability as the class progresses.

Glute and core conditioning follow, reinforcing turnout organisation and pelvic steadiness. The resistance of the mini-loop provides feedback that helps students track their knees and organise their hips, while the sequencing challenges breath control and reinforces a calm, steady rhythm.

Balance and weight transfer are then refined through transitions that strengthen the standing leg. This section supports precise stance-leg work, steady turnout, and clear placement of the rib cage as students travel between positions. The added resistance further strengthens foot articulation and teaches students to maintain alignment while coordinating upper-body placement.

The final section brings everything together in a controlled adage sequence. Students refine hip stability, foot articulation and the coordination between arms, legs and torso. The work emphasises musical phrasing and fluidity, encouraging students to move with clarity while maintaining organised posture and balanced weight placement.
