Check the supporting leg remains activated and the hand on the barre is forward of the body. Place the supporting foot centered onto the Bosu in the students natural “turn out”

Can this be executed with hyper extended leg?

Absolutely in fact Sophie in the demonstration has hyper extended legs and works constantly on the Bosu as this assist her to find her centre of activation.
