Welcome to Recovery Fusion Class 4 – Senior Level, guided by Jenna Roberts. This session combines core control, hip mobility, and spinal release to support recovery through targeted muscular engagement.
The class opens with Butterfly Variations, working through hip mobility, adductor activation, and hamstring stretching while incorporating port de bras and épaulement — the fusion ball supports continuous engagement through the core and pelvis throughout the sequence. Preparation for Cabriole follows, restoring strength and coordination through the legs and adductors through controlled, targeted work that reestablishes activation and connection through the lower body. Fusion Release then works through the transverse abdominis and obliques alongside chest and hip flexor opening and spinal rotation, offering a more active release through the anterior chain. The class closes with Half Helicopter Stretch, targeting hip mobility and adductor lengthening while maintaining pelvic stability throughout.
Tips:
• In Butterfly Variations, remind students that the pelvis and hips should remain completely still during the port de bras and épaulement — the movement lives in the upper body only.
• In Fusion Release, cue students to engage the transverse abdominis before moving into the bridge and rotation sequences.
• In Half Helicopter Stretch, encourage students to work within their own range — the pelvis should not tilt in order to gain more opening.
