Why I Teach Mini Documentary


Autumn has been dancing for 40 years and teaching for 30 years.


She holds her Registered Teacher's status with Royal Academy of Dance for Ballet which allows her to enter dance students for RAD Ballet exams.


Autumn is certified in Progressing Ballet Technique, a Full Member of Canadian Dance Teacher Association for Stage Tap and an Acrobatic Arts Certified Teacher.


A student at the Ailey School in NYC, Autumn is currently achieving her Horton Technique teachers certification.


Autumn had a 13 year career as a Registered Massage Therapist; knowledge which she uses to help dancers

develop technique and prevent injury using strengthening exercises to give her dancers a competitive edge.


Autumn Graduated from the George Brown College Dance Program in 2001


Her mission as a teacher is to train dancers who are confident in themselves, understand body mechanics, prevent injury and help her students fall in love with the process and perform!


Autumn has been honoured to receive Young Entrepreneur of the Year from the Cambridge Chamber of Commerce, a

WOW (Women of Waterloo Region) Creative Arts Award for the development of ONE Movement and a

Bernice Adams Award for Performing Arts.


Autumn has choreographed for WE Day, produced short films and continues to be involved in the arts throughout her Community.
